61%

So sorry I took a month-and-a-half long leave from my photoblog. : /  I had to do school.  This morning was my architecture final review.  It went well and I will make a separate post about it soon once I have documented everything.  But it pretty much sucked up my life between last Tuesday and today.

Tues – 6 hrs

Wed – 13 hrs

Thurs 12 hrs

Fri – 17 hrs

Sat – 12 hrs

Sun 17 hrs

Mon – 22 hrs

Tues – 3 hrs

Approx TOTAL: 102  Hours in studio over around 7 days  (168 hours)  Thats 61% of my last week in doing architecture… WOW.

Now take note that while I WAS working a lot of the time.. we obviously had some fun at the same time.  We probably played around 20 movies while we worked.  And were probably about 60% productive over all the time we were there due to our sleepiness and distractions.  All in all it was both hell and fun.  This was the last time I’ll have studio with these 14 people all together, and I think we’ll all miss each other a lot.  Tomorrow we’re all having dinner together, followed by a celebration party.  For the past 4 months (winter & spring terms) we’ve probably spent at least 25 hours per week together..  And based on our closeness, I predict we’ll have more reunions. 🙂

On to the pictures, and more to come once I have more time/sleep!

PS: Photoblog status:  I hope to get way more photography into my life this summer and go on lots of fun adventures with my camera.  I hope to resume posting multiple times per week once summer gets out.  I’ll also try to give a glimpse of the past few months where I haven’t been posting much.

Photoshop

So I’ve gotten super busy again, and I really want to post more stuff, but I’m sick now, and every night I’ve just wanted to sleep…  For an architecture class we had to make collages using Adobe Photoshop.  The first is a “Hodge Podge” of different, but (somehow related?) images.  The second an indoor dining space, the third an outdoor rainforest representation.

So I really did enjoy posting daily, and so I am going to try to do it again, despite my busy life.

This is my MacBook Pro.  It usually travels with me to class everyday.  Right now it pretty much runs my life (iCal, to do list, email).  Kinda like a mom – except I carry it around with me, I can close it, and I tell it what I want it to tell me…    kidding mom.

I am also posting a bunch of pictures from spring break in the I’m Back! 2.0 blog a few back..  I’ll try to get them up on Facebook soon as well!

Heres one sample..

I just realized I don’t have class til 10 tomorrow!! SCORE!

Campus Change Coalition (3C)

The past four days (first days of Spring Term) I have been helping an amazing group of people (the Campus Change Coalition (3C)) run for student government.  I mostly did video for the campaign, so between Sunday night and this morning another student and I created three short video ads.  Voting for primary elections ended today and results came out this evening, and unfortunately the president/vice pres hopefuls from 3C are not moving on to general elections…  But a fair number (7) of the people running for senate seats from our campaign are moving on.  A slightly disappointing end to a very busy and exciting week, but the people I met, the connections I met, and the experience I’ve gained from working on this campaign team has been irreplaceable.  And its not over yet.  We have 7 candidates to get into senate seats next week!

The people who ran for positions under 3C. This campaign team brought together so many awesome, driven, and inspiring people..

In addition to this campaign (it continues through next Thursday), other things I’ll be working on this term:  Studio (yes that is a link to my new blog for studio- a class requirement), Climate Justice League, Take Back the Tap in the Residence dinning halls (thru CJL), RHA (residence hall government), and preparing to be a trainer at SPROG (a grassroots training camp this summer).  I think (hope) thats it!  So I will be keeping busy again, but I’ll also be taking fewer credits (14 this term vs 18 last term).  I anticipate it to go by very quickly, but also be very satisfying and action packed! =)

Good to be back on the blog..

I’m Back! 2.0

So.. its been a very busy last couple weeks.  I stopped blogging during dead week because by the end of the day, I just wanted to go do sleep, so I did. Now its been nearly a month.  But I entend to begin again.  Maybe not every day, but at least a few times/week.

My finals went pretty well (I passed everything at least.. 🙂  )  Spring Break was also very relaxing – I went home to Corvallis and then my family and I went to Yachats (on the Oregon coast) for a few days and hung out on the beach.

(I’ll add some photos from my Spring Break soon.  it appears as if I’ve taken over 940 photos since I blogged last, so i have a few to choose from… 🙂 )

One of the Architecture classes requires that we keep a blog, so I’ll try to keep my Arch stuff on there, and this will be for.. whatever other parts of my life are left… 🙂  I also hope to add more photo albums/content to this one.  My studio blog is http://cbarch.wordpress.com .  I will also put a link the sidebar.
